Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 3 October 2026
Velinor wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or magnification.
Conformance status
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
We have not yet commissioned an independent accessibility audit, so we describe this site as partially conformant: parts of it are likely to fall short of the standard in ways we have not yet identified. We would rather say that plainly than claim a conformance we have not tested.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML structure with a single main landmark per page.
- Text contrast checked against the WCAG AA 4.5:1 threshold for body copy.
- The header menu and the Services list work from the keyboard: Enter or Space opens them and Escape closes them. A skip link takes you past the header to the main content.
- Reading the site does not depend on JavaScript. The text of every page is in the page itself.
- No audio or video and no time limits. Animation and scroll effects switch off when your device is set to reduce motion.
- Content reflows to a single column on narrow viewports. Three wide tables (on Picket, AI Assurance and Secure AI Adoption) scroll sideways inside their own frame, which you can reach with the keyboard.
Known limitations
- The booking calendar is provided by LeadConnector and opens on its own page in a new tab. We do not embed it and do not control its accessibility. If it presents a barrier, email us and we will arrange your booking directly.
- The site has not been tested end to end with JAWS or Dragon.
Feedback
If you encounter a barrier on this site, email contracting@velinor.io. Tell us the page and what went wrong, and we will respond within 5 working days and tell you what we intend to do about it.
This statement was first prepared on 8 July 2026 from a self-assessment. It was updated on 3 October 2026 after the site was rebuilt.
